Oh, and I started to clean up the mess in the new park in Glen Cove. Lots of litter has floated up on the shore of the pond, and I was raking it unto dry land. Not exactly a bike path related issue? It is, the park has a bike path, and although the litter was not on the path, it is a terrible eyesore. I called Glen Cove Beautification Dept. and their message said a cleanup is planned for this coming Saturday the 14th, so I'll be back then. We need at least 50 black garbage bags.
