My spouse and I cycle together. We've got a house full of bicycles and cycling stuff and since we both enjoying getting new cycling things, there's no need to lie about it. You all should get your families into cycling!
But the biggest "lie" I've heard while cycling is probably, "It's all downhill from here!" ... or maybe, "Don't worry ... we'll have a tailwind when we turn around!"
