You've taken the "butt-hurt" side of all this. Remember that talking via typed message cannot truly express the same feeling as if speaking face to face. Something may have been lost in translation. Also, although it can be done, rarely do written/typed words truly convey the issues at hand. I think literary feelings and imagination are best left to authors and not businessmen.
