Now this is something I can agree with. Motorists out number bicyclists by vast margins.

I am wondering if the sustained pressure of higher fuel costs will increase the number of people forced to take up bicycling as an alternative? Studies so far indicate yes.

I can't rally see a future in America where gas prices are as low as we have enjoyed in the past. Largely due to pressures on demand from developing nations like China who's appetite for oil has soared keeping demand high even as America curbs her appetite.
