Meh, what can I say, you're right.
I'm irked by those who refuse to admit why they bought Record, the ones that insist they bought it for performance rather than bling factor. Now like I said before, if you're a top racer I can understand, as every little thing will count in getting you one second faster over 100miles, but for most racers even, it's overkill.
I still say it's overpriced though, in relation to its worth. I don't say this in jealousy, it's just that the price doesn't reflect the increase in performance, much like what happens in most other goods. But I suppose it's all supply and demand. Until people aren't willing to buy stuff that's that expensive, companies will have no reason to lower the price.
