I have a Jamis Nova cyclocross bike and didn't want to swap tires all the time as well. I got Mavic Open Pro's with Ultegra hubs / skewers for around 160.00 with a performance bike 20% coupon a few months ago. Also bought the Ultegra 12-25 cassette for 27.00 at the same time. I have not had a problem so far (800 miles or so) with this set up. I weighed around 200 when I started using these wheels.
