Thoughts on tires for my Big Block

As those of you who read the Great Deals thread already know, I recently ordered an All-City Big Block complete bike on sale online at speedgoat bicycle. I don't expect it arrive for another week and am thinking that the only changes I'll want to make initially are to the gearing and tires. The gearing part is covered, as I have various cog sizes in stock and even extra chain links as needed. The stock tires on the Big Block are 700x25c Vittoria Zaffiros, which are a bit small for the way I intend to use this bike. All-City claims that there is clearance for tires up to 700x32c, but I'm not sure I want to go that large, and possibly 700x28c would be a good compromise. I have 700x28c Fyxations on my Moto Messenger (aka naranja), but they are actually closer to 700x32c in size. I expect my riding to be less aggressive on the Big Block, but more aggressive than on my Leader, which runs skinny 22mm tubulars and lightweight carbon rim wheels. This is a bike that will primarily be used for urban riding and for moderate distances, typically less than 10 miles at a time. So, I'm looking for ideas / suggestions on tires suitable for this bike, and cost is not a consideration.
