yes. And it annoys me when my overweight/sedentary roomates and co-workers say 'so you're go for a bike ride?' when I'm going to some abandoned industrial park to V02 max intervals and WRIs until puke so I don't get dropped in my crit.
On the otherhand, I no longer judge anyone who rides a bike. I used be all about posers and Freds and whatever, but after getting humbled over and over in races...i think its just cool that people ride bikes at all....
Exactly-we are all in the process of being passed or passing. Seems pretty silly to gloat over whether or not you can pass someone on a more expensive bike.
