+1 on trying Golden Cheetah for software. I've been using it over a year, but have never used WKO (so maybe it's good I don't know what I'm missing). The terminology is a little different in GC compared to the coogen book, but the concepts are the same. Easy to analyze a ride, track training load, find power peaks, etc.
