I don't get why you don't think they're doing the same job. Sure you can't get to them from the ramps, but they're useful for both bleeding speed and actual braking so they do the same job and more. You keep saying you can only use them all or nothing, but that's blatantly untrue. It just sounds like you've never used a properly set up set of interupters.
