^ listen to this guy... i'm in my 2nd month of riding and i started out too hard too fast and had some serious knee pain as a result of poor fit. now i've got a bad case of tendonitis in my right knee so i'm having to take it easy on my rides and rest more days in between, but it's slowly getting better. just start out slow and it will all come to you. as you build up your leg strength and endurance, you'll really start to see the pounds drop as you'll be able to ride harder and longer.

and that's a nice bike you got there. i'm jelous
