After seeing a rider coming down a hill have one of his levers break when he tried a panic stop, I do not trust extension levers and feel suicide lever is an apt description. BTW, the rider survived the impact with the car. I will say this. The lever was asked to perform in a manner for which I do not think it was designed and the rider was an idiot for letting himself get into the situation. But then blowing stop signs is another subject.
