Not sure on the best timing for rentals but you may be right. I live about 2-3 miles from Turtle Ridge. You'll be freeway close, have easy access to Newport & Laguna as well as most of North & South Counties. There's tens of miles of trail running that you can access through Newport Coast, Shady Canyon, and El Moro. Weekly Open Water Swims at Big Corona. Not sure if you need the electric bike. Might as well just ride.
