Bikes: Giant Escape III

Do a search in the forum - this topic has come up before. You'll see a variety of opinions. I still own my Citizen Tokyo, and it has served me well for three years. I did upgrade the gearing on mine, which on the original, as vmaniqui said, is too low, too slow. The steel Tokyo and Miami models are indeed heavy. The more expensive aluminum and alloy models are lighter. I'm not sorry I bought mine, but I am saving my money for a better bike - buy the best bike you can afford, and try before you buy if you can.
