I've never had a car, and have ridden since high school. Didn't have a bike just after the army for about a year, then moved here and couldn't work so wasn't really "commuting". Went by bus for the first couple of winters until I figured out riding through winter was warmer than sitting waiting for a bus. Been working here for 13 years, so year round for 12? 11?
