Well, it's the third day of Bike to Work Week and I still haven't seen another bike commuter in Raleigh, NC. The weather has not been ideal, however, and I drove myself yesterday due to forecasts calling for rain all day (which didn't show up until about 9 pm). The rest of the week is looking nicer, so maybe some hardy souls will still venture out. Our big event here is on Friday morning at the State Capitol, so I plan to extend my commute by about 5 miles and ride down there for the free food, coffee and hopefully some schwag. Last time I went, I got a free t-shirt and head/tail lights.

Since I missed my commute yesterday, I went kayaking after work and that really wore me out. Due to all the rain and severe weather we've had here this spring, it was only the second time I've been kayaking this year, so I'm out of shape for paddling. Usually I'm paddling a couple days a week by this time of year.
