Yes you have a point, here in India all our brevets started inside the hear of the city & all of them morning starts. I wished we'd have a few evening & night starts too. I rode my 400 in roughly 20hrs too close to 2am in the morning, We had a make a decision as to where & what time to stop for having dinner, which we eventually had at around 9pm. but there after there we had make sure we carry as much as possible since there was nothing open & when we finished there was not even a transport in site to take us home. So evening starts are definitely better.
