Best way to stabilize camera - Kodak Zi8

So I am trying to take some video with my new Kodak Zi8 during a charity ride for the American Cancer Society in July. I previous took some video with my canon point and shoot camera mounted to my handlebars with a homemade camera mount (used these instructions: http://content.photojojo.com/diy/att...-to-your-bike/) and it worked well, but that was when the point and shoot was a bit lower profile. The Zi8 is a bit taller so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to mount and stabilize the camera for the upcoming ride so that with the image stabilization on the camera, I won't give anyone the Blair Witch treatment. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
