I have been using this method for years . Get a used Crock Pot at Goodwill for $5 and some none deluded Antifreeze. Put parts in pot and add Antifreeze to cover parts. Set pot on high or auto and let it run over night. Parts come out clean like new. Baked on Castor comes off model motors. Bike chains come out like new. The Antifreeze can be used over many times as it can be pored from the pot and the crud will be at the bottom. I clean aluminum parts with no discoloring. TRY IT.
