i can see where this is a great opportunity for those who have a video cam on their bikes to capture the action by the LEO. in my opinion, drivers who buzz cyclists in a dangerous fashion (4-6" of clearance qualifies) are guilty of assault. would be a nice touch for the cop to see this video on court date.

i would have questioned the cop why he felt it was necessary to buzz me, regardless of his (erroneous) claims of where i should have been. not saying argue, but ask him why the deliberate buzz.
