It was an amazing experience here. I lead the ride and never had to stop for more than 20 seconds at a light without one of the police officers directing us through. We were fortunate not to have many clueless cyclists with the group. 182 people who ride the roads often enough to know how it's done.

The silence was the hardest part. I saw friends along the street and wanted to shout out to them. I did get to talk to the police officers a little, just to confirm which way we were going at the next intersection. I'm still impressed that I didn't get us lost. This Sunday's pub-crawl will be louder than usual. I've got extra noise bottled up inside me.

Sorry to hear anybody had a bad Ride of Silence.
