6700 RD appears to be interchangeable with 7900 and 6600. 6600 ST shows interchangeable with 7800. Neither 7800 nor 7900 show interchangeability section on the parts list.
I have not yet found a Shimano compatibility chart showing them.
Best guess so far is "yes".
