That is where I learned the in and outs of finding and buying vintage bikes. I followed the yard sale advice to the letter, this morning, and came away with an '87 Prelude in Ice Pink. All original. The tires and brakes appear unused. The paint is immaculate. Little bit of surface rust on the chromed parts. $40.
I took it out for a 20 mile test ride this evening, and it rode very nicely. I'll put pictures up tomorrow.
I didn't think I'd like indexed down tube shifters, but my mind has been changed. This one has the option of going either friction or indexed.
