I have a Specialized Allez Triple.

Went to LBS and while trying to adjust the bottom bracket, something went wrong with the thread on the left crank arm, the thread just came out.

Now, i'm not very upset at them for that, they were trying to help me out.

However, their solution was to order me one silver crank arm (at my cost) to replace the black crank arm with the stripped thread. My bike isn't wonderful, but it doesn't need unmatched crank arms...

I would rather have the same on both sides so I called them and cancelled the order.

Now i'm trying to find a black pair of crank arms. The ones on the bike are Sugino, 172.5mm, is this a suitable alternative?

Or can I use any size e.g. 170 or 175mm?

Do they have to be Sugino or can I use any brand?
