Sports need to be cleaner than they are, but dedicating so much energy to witch hunts that change the official results of events so far after the fact seems pretty damn pointless.
We can take comfort in knowing Ullrich will get his TdF victories rightly credited to him, as he never doped to enhance his performance at that race.
I view this as the zeal generally reserved for going after those committing financial and physical crimes that wreck lives (a la Kenneth Lay and Bernie Madoff) being directed toward athletes/entertainers. But I get your point.
