I had a beautiful near-mint Varsity a while back that had been in my former father in law's garage. I ended up selling it to a friend for $50 because I just couldn't find a reason to keep it. It's too heavy to be a road bike, and by the time you put fenders, risers and such, you could just buy a city bike. But here in Philly, Via Bikes sells so many of them that you see them all over.
