I say get a rear basket and just dump the tacke box in their. I was amazed at how versatile a rear basket could be (I actually attached a milk crate). I can put my backpack in it on the days I carry it, or I can put some groceries in it when I go shopping. I also don't worry to much about theft when I leave it locked up.
