I recently asked a Performance Bike employee (Towson MD location) about the difference between Ultegra and Dura Ace hubs. He said that Dura Ace ball bearings are manufactured to tighter tolerances than either Ultegra or 105 hub bearings and are therefore generally closer to perfectly spherical. However, I don't know how to verify this information.
