It's not bad. I'm wanting to do more pulled pork so I might cook some up this week as a post-ride meal for the 41 folks. Maybe BBQ and beer around the fire pit.

I thought the rest stops sucked...the food selection was for crap!

The route was good though....but the wind! At least we had a nice tail wind to push us home.

I was the guy in the black Army jersey.
Also missing was the post-ride spaghetti dinner. I asked Tim (owner of Bikes and Moore) about it and he said that the church was supporting a prom last night as well so the spaghetti dinner didn't happen. Not sure at what point they found out about this, but it sucked to finish the ride and expect to go get a plate of spaghetti only to find out that there was none. As my wife pointed out - part of registration paid for that Spaghetti dinner that didn't happen.

The wind was horrid on that long straight leading into the next to last rest stop on the 60. I got in the drops, stayed low, and kept at it...sucked.

As far as food at the rest stops. I'm good with Gatorade, water and orange slices. Last year they had hundreds of fresh-baked cookies at the rest stops in addition to the usual food/fruit.

I think I'll do Tour de Nash next year. Especially if the the Little River ride is the same day as the Tour de Nash.
