2 Lead VS 1 Lithium e-bikes and batteries...
I recently bought a A2B Velociti and making the transition from my Currie Mountain Bike. I always knew where I was at with my Currie because I had two battery packs. I am hoping I would not need to carry an extra battery pack to travel a distance of about 30 Km with the A2B.
I have only been out a few times discharging the battery only once. I bought a bike computer so tracking the distance now. There is 3 lights on the throttle and I got about 13KM and the battery was in the middle bar and that was pedaling most of the time but in a headwind half the time. I weigh 200 lbs.
The last bar on the indicator says there is 0-30 percent range left. That sure keeps you guessing!
My question is what kind of range should I expect and is there a “breaking” in period for a Lithium battery? Any tips would be much appreciated.
