Actual upgrades:

Jones aluminum Loop H Bar: $120
Ergon grips $40
SPD pedals: $90
Velocity A-23 wheels: $300

So that comes to $550. One could argue that Fuji should have set it up that way from the beginning and if they had the price of the bike probably would have increased by no more than $200. A flat handlebar is out of place on a road biased hybrid, in my opinion. The wheels on the other hand were too road biased, I wanted a set that were wide enough to work well with wider tires and the A-23's work great with road tires too so no reason not to use them. SPD pedals are not everyone's first choice but a lot of people would be happy with them.

I've got even more in accessories but accessories don't count as upgrades!
