My friend Amy found this late 80's Raleigh at a thrift store as shown here:


After a bunch of parts and labor...(and pink, she LOVES pink).


Happy to say she's become a bicycle commuter because of it.

Then I found this late 80's Specialized Hard Rock frame at the local recycler. It had a few misc parts on it that I stripped off for other builds.



Another female friend of mine liked it, and had me build it into a drop bar school commuter for her. (It's still red, bad photo). We later wrapped the bars, but I don't have a good shot of that.
