This is, I think, an unfair, cherry-picked criticism. You'd have to show that payouts to grants was an overriding benefit to helping people who have live longer longer, compared to the use to which money is now being put.
In fact, the online livestrong mission statements don't mention grants. Here's what the website does say:
"the goals have remained the same—to help people understand what to expect, learn what questions to ask and connect people to appropriate resources."
I'd like to see where the information about the "$4M increase in legal and professional fees" can be found - can you provide the link, mcjimbosandwich?
