The challenge is on!!! (I'm searching ebay as we speak) After my initial 'under 18 pound' comment I remembered a set of ultra-light tubular wheels I have, with the clunky NR skewer the front wheel weighs under 1000g with the tire. The Vitus front wheel (Mavic G40 rims) is 1360g which means swapping wheels sets alone will net me about 700 grams (1 lb 9 oz) and thats with NR skewers!! I now think I could get it mid 17's without sacrificing durabilty.
