My ads state explicitly to contact me via phone, so the e-mails are suspicious; but I received a text message requesting me to use IM on the computer, and I refused to do that, too.
I admit that I am tempted to try to reel in these creeps so I can see them face-to-face, but, as stated above, it's a much better idea to ignore them completely.
Same here, my phone number is always in my ads.. This creep even told me he would give me fifty dollars over the price to hold the bike 5 days after payment..Very polite.. The next time I get that money order bit, I might give them some real raw talk...
