Make sure you get three sets. One for your rain/damp pavement tires, one for your general training, and one set for fast rides. If you use one set for all types of riding, the wheels may not go as fast since they tend to develop speed "memory" much the same as some rechargable batteries. And three sets of carbon specific brake pads for the same reason. Of course, if all of your rides are at full speed, you don't have that problem.
With baggy shorts, you may want to get the tubular version, which have the tires glued to the rims. They will handle the flapping noise from your shorts better.
