How many threads do you plan on starting for this bike? We're not your research department - if you wanna make money selling bikes, you're gonna have to some work to figure out what you have. Or give us a percentage of sales as a consulting fee.

It would have to be collectible in order to be sought after by collectors. What you have is a mass produced production aluminum bike with a carbon fork, built by a contract house for Marin. Can't be too many of those around. It is neither "classic", "vintage", nor collectable. Maybe in 20 years or so - who knows, but I doubt it. Capitalizing the words COLUMBUS TUBING and CARBON doesn't make it worth any more.

Here's a simple test - put it up on Craig's List. If it is highly sought after and rare, I guarantee folks all over the country will have automated searches set up to find it. You should be rolling in thousands and thousands of $$$ in short order.

If you want a better valuation of your particular bike, you need to

A) Post in the valuation sub-forum, and

B) Provide pics of the bike you have, not a different one that you found on the web.
