Avoid this seller, and tell your friends to do likewise. Failure to re-condition all bearing surfaces, all moving parts, cables/housings, brake pads and bar tape...true the rims... these are the minimal tasks that any of us would do. Strip, clean, repack, replace, re-build, tune, test, adjust (for rider), sell. Anything less is, well, not worth your time as an end user. You want a ride-able bike with no hidden flaws.

You're not at war with this fellow, just steer clear and never look back.
