That's a good idea -- I need a few more than you did but I may have to try that rather than buying the full box.

I too only want a few but it doesn't seem like anyone sells them in small batches. I was thinking that I would buy the box and then try to sell off the ones I didn't use in small batches on ebay to recoup some of the cost. Hopefully there are other cyclists like us who want to purchase a small batch of them but don't want to lay out for the full box.

Either that or I'll just go the ball bearing + superglue route. Not field serviceable but it might be less hassle overall.
