I must admit that I am not OCP material. But my wife is all the way down with OCP. She's ridden her bike at total of 20 miles and already has more cycling clothes than me. All color coordinated. We went to 5 different shops before she found the right helmet. She already has her brother doing up some custom decals for her bike. On her list of upcoming mods...carbon bars, carbon stem, and carbon water bottle cages. She is keen on the Spinergy Rev X's, but isn't sold yet on them. But they are carbon and she likes the style. I'm afraid to show her some of the other carbon wheels out there...I asked if she should ride a little more and get it in better shape before she tricks out her bike. Ya know, not ride so slow. Her reply, "It doesn't matter how fast you ride if you look good."
I'll tell her about the OCP club. But she's so much of a poseur that this whole board thing is a little beneath her...
Oh, and according to my wife your helmet must fit your head properly so it doesn't make it look like you have a big head. And the helmet, shoes, gloves, and glasses must match. One last note from her. You get big points if you wear a gold chain with a small cross on it. Your jersey should be unzipped enough so that it can dangle out when you come up out of the saddle. Doesn't matter if you're Christian or not. Lance wears one, so you should too....accessories, accessories, accessories...
