Bikes: 1986 Alan Record Carbonio, 1985 Vitus Plus Carbone 7, 1984 Peugeot PSV, 1972 Line Seeker, 1986(est.) Medici Aerodynamic (Project), 1985(est.) Peugeot PY10FC

I noticed from your pics that there seems to be some paint coming off at the back of the head tube where it meets the downtube lug. It might be nothing as Gitane's paint is kind of QR, Based on what I know with my brother's Criterium, but it will be good to check to see if the paint release in that area is a result of some sort of crash damage.
Otherwise, the bike's beautiful! I really love the way Gitane puts much more into their lugwork at that time compared to Peugeot. All the little details like the windowed lug points all over the bike and the detail at the rear brake bridge stay ends. By this time and into the 80's Peugeots were getting simpler with plain looking short point lugs many with not so pretty BB shells with truncated points (blehhh) and brake bridges that is just flush brazed into the stays. that's why Gitanes look so good even with such simple paintjobs and graphics!
