I'm sure your bike is just a series of randomly colored parts that happened to be in stock

Though thanks for the suggestion, it's one of the chainrings I was looking at. I've contacted tree fort about returning my dura-ace cog, if there's any problems there I'll keep it and replace the chainring, if they accept it I'll just grab a 17t all city cog.
