What is tightened normally? Crankbolts require 25~35 ft lbs of torque, which is really tight and difficult to achieve by hand without a torque wrench. A mechanic described it too me as "face-shaking" tight.

I doubt the warranty will cover 'your' repair, as it was not done correctly. If the shop did their job correctly, your crank arm may not fall off again.
