Scattante bikes are great. I had a R660 for my first one, all Ultegra. Aluminum frames have a harsh ride compared to full carbon. Spend that $300 on some good shoes, pedals and shorts. Performance sells shorts, green inside, that are great.....

Do you really need a triple crank? How about a compact, 50/34?
