My Quarq offset is generally in the range of -600. It doesn't really matter what it is so long as it is consistent and you zero it manually before a ride (and, if you are experiencing drift in the number, reset it by pedalling backwards during the ride). But, with my unit needing a -600, if I had never zeroed it, my power would be overstated by 180+ watts.
