I used to break the law and ride a 1-mile stretch of I-5 in Oregon that's off-limits to bikes because the alternative would've added 6 miles to my 15.5 mile commute. Luckily I never got popped in the year I worked down there.
I'm pretty sure the I-5 e-lanes down in Oregon are still legal south of the I-205 interchange in Wilsonville down to Salem and then south of Salem possibly down to California but there might be restrictions around Eugene, IDK.
