I just put them ON one of my Paramounts. Yes, I will stop there and not be installing Twin Stik stem shifters.
To explain, I have been having issues with neck pain while riding. I changed (on my Opaque Blue P 15) from the stock Cinelli bars and stem to Nitto randonneur bars with a Technomic stem. Remembering back to my teenage years, my Nishiki International came with turkey wings, and they worked quite nicely on the randonneur bars. Due to the angle, there is much more room for travel. I figured that Paramounts did come with them, at least once in a while so I gave it a try. The end result is that I can ride much more comfortably and with Kool Stop Continental pads I can lock up the rear wheel using the turkey wings. If it keeps me on the bike it is better than the alternative.
I liked this so much that I set up my 71 P 13 with a Technomic stem and GB randonneur bars taken from a Sports Tourer. I did leave the Campy brakes on this one - not turkey wings.
