Something tells me that isn't a '70s bike. In fact, it looks like a Japanese-built Raleigh. Look at the headbadge under where it says The Raleigh, should say Nottingham or similar. It appears identical to a Gran Sport that I recently sold, where it has slash marks under the Raleigh moniker.
