Thanks, I am loving this bike. Re the paint, I think this bike has been repainted (which makes me kind of sad) so I believe this particular spot is just an oversight ont he painters part. There are few scratches here and there, but no strong evidence of any major damage!

I too love the details on this frame, maybe one day I will try to restore it and put some Gitane decals on it etc
