Well, it's good to know that bike shops only have to provide competent, reasonably-priced equipment and service to people who have been deemed by a bunch of internet dicks to be deserving of the bike they bought.
Guess what--we're pretty much all not as good as our bikes, and yet we all have the audacity to expect that a shop will sell us what we paid for.
The R3 is a great bike, and if I had the cash to buy one as my first bike I'd probably have done it to. Of course then I would've gotten a much earlier intro to internet road nazi dooshbaggery.
If you were the shop owner, one would think you'd want to treat this customer right on the non-zero chance that 1. he'll refer his similarly-well-off buddies to a shop he's happy with, and 2. When he gets hooked and wants that Red-Equipped R5ca, he'll need a Cervelo dealer.
